Basic Addiction Education for NGO's
The basic addiction training project for civil society organizations is a social responsibility project designed to enable NGOs to carry out more effective and conscious work in the field of combating addiction. This training aims to increase awareness of addiction by targeting managers, personnel, members and volunteers of civil society organizations and to guide them on how to conduct work in this field.
Addiction is a serious public health problem that leaves deep marks on both individuals and society. In combating this problem, NGOs are important structures that can establish direct contact with society and reach different segments. However, in order for the work to be done on addiction to be effective, NGOs must have the necessary knowledge and equipment in this field. This is where our project comes into play and provides comprehensive training to NGOs on addiction combat strategies, preventive work and rehabilitation processes.
Within the scope of the training program, basic topics such as types of addiction, effective methods used in combating addiction, counseling techniques and how to act in crisis situations are addressed. In addition, practices that will help NGOs develop addiction awareness campaigns, preventive activities and support services for their own communities are also shared. In this way, participants learn to do effective work in the fight against addiction on both an individual and societal level.
The project is carried out by expert academics, addiction consultants and psychologists in the field and provides both theoretical and practical training to NGO representatives. This project, which aims to provide participants with competence in the fight against addiction at the end of the training, enables NGOs to provide more benefits to society and to take a stronger stance in the fight against addiction. This social responsibility project is an important step towards protecting public health.
