HUMANITARIAN LIFE ASSOCIATION PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

GENERAL INFORMATION TEXT

Humanitarian Life Association, which carries out humanitarian aid and youth activities in disadvantaged regions where crime and criminal elements are high, disaster areas, countries and regions with poverty, also shows its sensitivity in the sector regarding the security of personal data. With this awareness, we attach great importance to the processing, preservation and deletion of private and general personal data of our visitors in all media in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, secondary regulations (regulations, notifications, circulars) put into effect and to be put into effect under the Law and binding decisions taken and to be taken by the Personal Data Protection Board. With the awareness of this responsibility, we process your personal data as the "Data Controller" as defined in the Law, in the manner explained below and within the limits prescribed by the legislation.

1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE DATA CONTROLLER

In accordance with the law, İNSANİ LİFE ASSOCIATION, registered with the registry number 34-224-093 in the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations of the Republic of Turkey - Istanbul Directorate, is the “Data Controller”.

2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Humanitarian Life Association, which carries out humanitarian aid and youth activities in disadvantaged regions where crime and criminal elements are high, disaster areas, countries and regions with poverty, needs the processing of personal data both in the direct fulfillment of its legal obligations and in cases where these obligations and services provided indirectly require it. To provide the information required by the relevant public institutions and organizations, judicial or administrative courts and law enforcement forces when necessary,
It is processed in accordance with the law, the rules of honesty and in a manner that is always connected, limited and proportionate with these purposes within the limits specified in the Law.

  1. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
    Your personal data may be transferred to real and legal persons permitted by the legislation, when necessary, to other authorized public institutions and organizations, judicial and administrative courts, law enforcement agencies, institutions and organizations with which we have business relations, authorities related to humanitarian aid activities and the relevant ministry, humanitarian aid associations with the same purpose with which we carry out joint activities, and consultancy, technology and training companies from which we receive external services, within the scope of the purposes listed above, in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

     

  2. METHODS OF COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL REASONS
    Your personal data is collected by real or legal persons authorized by İNSANİ HAYAT to process data, through automatic and non-automatic methods such as e-mail, telephone, website, various contracts, forms kept on paper and minutes, verbally, in writing or electronically.

Name-Surname, Turkish Republic identity number, telephone number, e-mail, address information, entry-exit information, security records

 

 

type of special and general personal data are processed in accordance with subparagraphs 2/a-c-ç-e-f of Article 5 and paragraph 3 of Article 6 of the Law, provided that they do not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms and based on the legal reason of İNSANİ HAYATI's legitimate interests.

Apart from the data types listed above, your general and special personal data such as volunteers' association and foundation membership, membership information regarding non-governmental organizations and social media account information will be collected and processed within the scope of your explicit consent within the scope of Articles 5/1 and 6/2 of the Law. In this sense, the explicit consent text signed by you will be an integral part of the disclosure text.

5. RIGHTS OF DATA OWNERS UNDER THE LAW
You may apply to İnsani Hayat Association at any time and request that your personal data;

You can learn whether it has been processed, the purpose of processing and whether it has been used in accordance with its purpose and if it has been processed, you can request information about it,
You can learn the third parties with whom your information has been shared domestically and abroad in accordance with the Law,
You can request correction of your information if you think it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
You can request the deletion or destruction of your information within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
You can request that the requests specified in clauses (c) and (d) to the third parties to whom your information has been transferred be notified and that they perform the same procedures,
You can object to a result that is against you due to the analysis of your information by automated systems or if you think it has been recorded or used in violation of the law and if you have suffered damages for this reason, you can request compensation for the damages.

If the application you make for these purposes requires an additional cost, you will be subject to paying the fee determined by the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller issued by the Personal Data Protection Board. If your application is answered in writing, no fee will be charged for the first 10 (ten) pages, and a 1 TL processing fee will be charged for each page over 10 (ten). If the answer to your application is given on a recording medium such as a CD or flash drive, a fee equal to the cost of the recording medium will be charged to you.

The requests in your application will be finalized as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.

In order to benefit from your rights under the law, you can submit your applications in writing to İNSANİ HAYAT, provided that they are in Turkish, and you can visit the Personal Data Protection Authority's website for detailed information.

You can make your applications by;

After filling out the form on insanihayat.org.tr, delivering a signed copy in person or via a notary to “Büyük Karaman Cad. No:45 34083 Fatih / İstanbul” address,

You can do this by filling out the form at org.tr and signing it with your secure electronic signature within the scope of the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 and sending it to the registered electronic mail of the secure electronically signed form.

In the application that includes your explanations regarding the right you request to use and to exercise your rights specified above as the personal data owner; the subject you request must be clear and understandable, the subject you request must be related to you or if you are acting on behalf of someone else, you must present your special power of attorney approved by a notary public in this regard.

In your applications, it is mandatory to include the following elements: name-surname, signature, T.R. identity number, residence or workplace address, e-mail address, telephone and fax number, and the requested elements, in accordance with the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”. Applications that do not contain the said elements will be rejected by İNSANİ LİFE ASSOCIATION.

HUMANITARIAN LIFE reserves the right to make changes to this disclosure text at all times for reasons arising from the Law, secondary regulations and Board decisions. The changes to be made to the disclosure text and the updated text will become effective immediately as of the date they are notified to you.
